Save cats!

“I am Marshmallow. This is an interesting world. When you open the windows & let the sun shine in, you can see my beautiful blue eyes. Thank you Singapore Cat Museum for saving me.”

All we are trying to do here is to get kitties, young & old, off the streets, away from danger & into safe, wonderful homes so they can have a family to love them. Our intention is pure… innocent like Marshmallow!

If you can help with a SMALL contribution to DBS 033 904 974 3, we can have a BIGGER Kitty Orphanage to give our Lion City Kitty strays a temporary home before they are adopted.

We want them away from all the ABUSE & MURDER taking place on the streets. Many wonderful groups like CATSI & Love Kuching Project and many others are constantly taking injured animals to the vet or caring for them in house. Seeing their injuries, will make you very SAD. They are suffering a lot of Pain, many don’t survive. END THEIR SUFFERING! Let’s get them HOMES! They deserve to be loved.

Adopt older cats!

Please help us SHARE…

We are Singapore’s only Permanent Adoption Drive and we are set up in a home environment.

We are raising funds to have an additional ADOPTION WING which will include a SAVVY SENIORS corner for adults, or older kitties. We need $20,000 to just get started. We appreciate ANY contribution to DBS 033 904 974 3 to help save another life. We CAN make it happen TOGETHER!

We find homes for both Adults & Kittens… enjoy our pictures of kitties who have found homes.

SUPURRSTAR PROFILE: I am George Clooney or Georgie, Supurrstar of the Mansion. On 1 Sep, I turned 15 years old!!!

I have been nothing but loyal to my Mummy, I sleep on her chest till she tells me to get off cos she can’t breathe… heh heh and I purr purr purr to tell her how much I love her.

Many people only want to adopt kittens but some very special people, know that Adults Deserve a Chance at a Good Home too.

On 8 Aug 2008, at almost 7 years old, my life changed because Mum decided to adopt me and my 5 year old pal Johnny. We were living in a back room cupboard as my previous family had their 3rd child and unfortunately we had to go…

I have lived with all my other friends, Braddie, then Julia, then Sarah, the Harry … the rest as they say is history. I lost my best friend in 2013, that was a sad sad day.

Now, it is great that in my retirement years, I am still a Supurrstar meeting many wonderful people who think I am a Handsome Stud!!!

So please, ADOPT ADULTS!!! Adults Deserve a Chance! You won’t regret it…
Remember, we are NOT for Profit, so when you visit the $9 goes to helping the Orphans while they wait to find a Happy Home.

8 Purvis Street (near Raffles Hotel) Open: Sat/Sun 1 to 3.30pm OR Thu – Sun 4 to 7pm (Sun till 6.30pm)

In Happy Homes at Last!

We wanted to share with you what your visit helps to fund. Every $9 you pay for the entry fee helps Rescuers & Fosterers who spend thousands of dollars of their own pocket for vaccinations & other medical costs, transport costs, food & cat litter and other miscellaneous expenses to try to get the kitties adopted.

In 7 short months, hundreds of kitties have come to the Kitty Orphanage & Kitten Kindergarten in the hopes of finding a home and a loving family. Over 100 cats & kittens have found homes!!

Life on the streets is hard for a kitty so these darlings really are the fortunate ones!

If you want to support them, every small contribution helps OCBC 686362385001 or cheques to “The Cat Museum” mailed to 8 Purvis Street #02-02 Singapore 188587.

The Museum helps draw in visitors to visit beautiful art & craft and then pop into the kitties’ temporary home. Amazing volunteers come every week to share their knowledge and love for cats with visitors!

THANK YOU to all the HOOMANS with HEARTS of GOLD!

Help Us Help More Kitties!

Sometimes…all it takes is a TOUCH!

We opened our HOME to the KITTIES so they could find one for themselves! Over 100 found a SAFE fur-ever home & loving family in 7 months!

When we first heard that establish welfare groups organise adoption drives that lead to only 100 cats finding homes a year, we knew we had to help the fosterers!!!

Overburdened and with limited resources and avenues to find homes for the kitties they rescue and rehabilitate, they end up putting them BACK TO THE STREETS!!

With more and more MURDERS, we need to help the kitties. Our Kitty Orphanage & Kitten Kindergarten works!!

Help Us, Help Them!

1. BE an KITTY AMBASSADOR – students start an initiative in your school, homemakers/freelancers help us to do admin, marketing & social media, help with adoptions, take photos of orphans, transport to vet. Once a week helps!

2. Put your money where your PURR is 🙂
OCBC 686362 385001 You won’t get a tax rebate but you will save a LIFE!

3. VOLUNTEER – weekdays to care for the kitties, clean, bath, brush etc or during opening hours (fri to sun) to look out for the kitties and spread the love to visitors!

Help Us Right a Wrong!

NO MORE TALK, WE NEED TO ACT!!!

We are not SAD, we are ANGRY. More cats have been murdered and this time maybe even eaten.

NO ONE IS caught or prosecuted. ALL THESE YEARS OF ABUSE! How many more innocent beautiful animals have to die???

HELP US GET THEM OFF THE STREETS!!!

Help us “RIGHT A WRONG”!

A. END the SENSELESS DEATH of Cats MURDERED on the STREETS.

Every day cats are found DEAD in the hands of cruel humans who cannot co-exist with them as they struggle to survive. What chance do they have to protect themselves from wicked people and against these painful and horrible deaths.

Their only hope at LIFE is to find a SAFE & LOVING HOME!

The Cat Museum EXISTS to FIND them LOVING FAMILIES & HOMES!

B. HELP OUR HEROES

Rescuers & fosterers seldom get the credit they deserve.

They do the following on their OWN TIME and from their OWN POCKETS…

1. From hours spent trapping a cat, sometimes in the middle of the night, to money spent at the vet for vaccinations, deworming, getting rid of fleas/mites, blood tests for feline aids & leukemia, effort also goes into bathing them, cleaning ear mites, plucking fleas, cutting nails to housing & feeding them & socialising them or boarding fees.

2. But it doesn’t end there. Then comes the effort of finding them a HOME. Adoption drives are few & far between and a limited number of cats are allowed in. Even when given a space, fosterers have to carry heavy cages, transport their cats and stand for 6 to 8 hours in the hopes that even ONE cat finds a sincere family & a SAFE HOME. Imagine if you’ve rescued 10 cats or more…

3. Fosterers then help the adopters get their home safe & ready, visit the home, execute the adoption contract, deliver the cat and the follow ups to ensure they are adapting well and to ensure they are steralized when necessary.

The Cat Museum has taken on a SHARE of their burden. We work with individual HEROES to find their rescued cats & kittens a family for life & a SAFE HOME!
